We're still just about cold enough for the white stuuf, especially just ater dark. Patchy drizzle during the day, and lots of ominous looking clouds that just blow over.

update on Jeepy

engine is ok!

needs:

new motor mounts and the broken bolts drilled out of the block, radiator hose, front springs, cross member can be welded and repaired,

Jeep #2 will be on the road very soon.

name: Sammy (need names to id them)

2 wheel drive, 4 cylinder Audi/VW engine, right hand drive of course.

transfered fuel tank from Jeep # 3 due to Sammy's being rusted out,

changed fuel filter of course,

had to order a new fuel pump, only 5 in the US and all of them are in Alabama... figures!

Have to change seat old one is wore out,

Jeep #3

name: Cav's Jeep (the dog really likes this one, jumps right in with out a problem)

2 wheel drive, 6 cylinder like Jeepy, needs a new gas tank, new alternator and some wiring, new seat, and new tires, new brakes.

Jeep # 4

name: unknown (had jeep 2 weeks before the crash/roll overs)

2 wheel drive, 6 cylinder, needs extreme body and mechanical work, no longer road worthy, but will someday be used to drive around the property and yard work.

all springs are now new HD with military wraps,

and we are using a 1980 CJ 5 front spring stabilizer shackles and plate,
