So I went to the village shop and obtained the key - with the instruction to lock myself in after entering, to prevent anyone else getting in.

What a place to be, on 31st October.

This castle site consists of a large grassy area, containing a circular stone keep, approximately 60ft in diameter externally. A circle of earthworks surrounds it.
