Better known as Gerddy (Gertrude) Bought her brand new in 1980 did all the damage my self. It was around 2000 i did a frame off restoration on her and a lot of upgrade pics to follow. I'm also in the process of restoring a 1942 Willy's army jeep I'll have pics for that too

Meg says she will help me to hang the CUCV body from the rafters tomorrow and after its lowered onto a safe place nearer the floor I'll start stripping Wendy's body.

You know that Irish Stout you had was pretty dang good, have to pick some of that up this week!!

Not quite as serious a truck as that, and certainly not made to measure, but I just got rid of the old Spacewagon and got a 2005 Honda CRV. Who needs a 4x4 in Glasgow? ....well have you seen the state of our roads??!! Pot-hole capital!

It's really handy when I go to places like Graham's Castle, and some of the roads are single track. If you want to stop for a picture, you basically need to park it off the road, and I wouldn't want to be stuck in a ditch up there. Good for packing the fishing gear too....if I ever find the time to go out!

One thing I haven't fathomed out yet, there's a removable rectangular panel at the bottom of the rear door, and no mention in the manual. It looks like it'll be a towing hook, but a bit strange having that on the door. One day curiosity will get the better of me and I'll have a look.

You should see the roads here i think some of the dirt roads are better than the paved ones
