March 5, 200323 yr I find it so amazing and a little bit hard to grasp that the carpenters of the day were able to make such beautiful thins without the technology that we have today! It's just so incredible that the carpenters of the day were so ingenious in their designs and ideas.
March 6, 200323 yr Admin You got me on this one, thins, carpenters,... :Questions: I think it has something to do with metal and my curiosity is up, could you please shed some light on this for some one like me that is so dense? :stupid:
March 7, 200323 yr Author I don't quite understand what you're wanting me to answer. I was simply marveling at the ingenious work of carpenters of those days. It's just so incredible that the work done by carpenters and designers in those days is as beautiful if not more beautiful than what we do today with a great deal more technology.
March 7, 200323 yr Admin I couldn't agree with you more about the level of workmanship in the past. Its a pet peeve of mine that we don't put more effort into the items made today and all most every thing is shoddy and meant to be thrown away if it breaks. :glare: I mistakenly thought you were talking about the little metal tins or other metal items that had so fantastic detailing or maybe the sword scabbards that both a metal smith and carpenter some times endowed with intricate designs, sorry for my confusion. :blush2:
March 7, 200323 yr Author I agree with you whole heartedly and I was kind of talking about little items but I was talking more about big items...so I can see your confusion. That is really frustrating that we don't take as much time today as we did before and I guess that's because of the world that we live in and the pace at which everything moves these days!
