November 30, 200520 yr Then why not on one of your alleged 'rest days' get yourself off to ye olde booke shoppe and have a look first hand?
December 1, 200520 yr Author I'm not taking "rest days". Just working "short days" (10am-4pm). Still means leaving home before 8:30am and arriving home around 5:30pm. Next weekend I hope to go to a postcard fair in Canterbury, and pick up a few bargains. I've got my "wants" list ready, but will buy others if they are a bargain.
December 1, 200520 yr Wow - that is a short day?! Past a full day here for our government folks! :evil laugh:
December 11, 200520 yr Author Well, I DID go to my postcard fair. I made a few purchases of specific castles, some of which I had to pay a little more than usual for, as they were unusual views. I had a little extra money to spend this time, and came away with 51 castle postcards. I also purchased five old prints, two of which I had resolved to purchase over the internet if I had any cash left over from the postcard fair. This way I definitely got a great bargain. . I'll get these scanned when I have some free time.
