Of Wolfs, Dogs and Hybrids
A place to howl and snarl and let the world know how you feel.
(I'm very much for these animals and truth be told .... I do bite!)
This topic was made because frankly I got fed up with all the "dog do-do" on the net about these animals.
Every would be ex-spurt that has a hairball problem seems to be coming out of the kennel wash to whine about them.
I'll welcome any discussion no matter the pedigree or lack of obedience training of the poster.

What am i? I am a product of my past and if you have a moment I'll explain. As far as can be found out at this time. My parents were both "OLD BLOOD", mother was from County Cork Ireland and my father was from the Highlands of Scotland where perhaps I was born in a small Croft in the early 50's. I was offered for adoption through the Catholic church and brought to the USA, but for reasons still unknown the process was never finalized, probably due to my red hair and freckles!! Well all most everything to be honest. A high content wolf dog like mine had a better since of smell, eye site, taste and intuition then any dog I every worked around. He found bad guys hiding in places where normal K9's couldn't find them and some times with out even going in the building. His since of smell was amazing! He could out run a fast and younger Shepherd as well as any K9 he was put against. A wolf can flat out move on any terrain and is one of the most agile creatures I have ever seen. Now I will tell you something you wont believe, we were in a city yard looking for a bad guy and my dog was off lead, meaning he was free to attack. He was on point as we ro…

Tongue in cheek article I guess I'll start with one item that possible would not be good for the dog to eat is your neighbor. No matter how, tempting , he is to the dog its sure to give the pup indigestion and the runs. Not good!! I always gave my dog alittle Pepto in cases like that ... i mean when he had the runs that is ... and he loved the stuff. When I had a garden he would go eat the peppermint leaves and that worked even better. I feel it's much better for him to have natural meds like peppermint, chamomile and other herb's then it was for him to eat processed stuff. For that matter its better for humans too!! I've heard chocolate is harmful. I always limi…
