    Just rented and watched a 80's (?) movie with Ren Fairs and Joisting that truly abused the literal meaning of horse power for the Knights mounts. This is a Pre-Ren Fair Ren Fair movie and possible helped jump start the real thing, if that's the right words. Knightriders; starring Ed Harris --- rated R

    Stateside Medieval Village

    I figured if I ever wanted to visit a Medieval Village I'd have to head overseas to the UK or European mainland to see one. While digging around for castle related information I happend across Camlann Village in Washington (looks to be only about 45-60 minutes from SEA airport). Anyone been there? Looks interesting. http://www.camlann.org/

    Meg wrinkling her nose at me for taking the picture This next one is for Laureen. (men in kilts) Meg and I had a discussion about these so called "kilts" which may have ticked these folks off when they walked by. Meg kept saying it was their version of a dress kilt and I said if they wanted to be wearing a skirt that was ok .... but donna be calling it a KILT!
