I had drove the poles and tightened the 4 strands of barb wire before Meg and I lay ed the no step wire fencing thats commonly used to keep horses in a pasture. Its 2 inches wide x 4 inches high oblong openings prevent the horses from getting their hoofs caught. Due to the Helient moo and goats horns as well as the dogs we went with this type of fencing and also the human traffic as well. There for a while we thought we were going to have to put three strands of barbed wire on top too but hopefully we wont. We were busy pulling the fence and getting it wired to the poles and barb-wire backing strands when Meg who was out side the wire slipped on the small embankment…

This is for you two but if any body can answer the question the better, this might mean you I've been waiting for a wee bit more indepth response about why you guys have put your plans off for moving over to the States and starting up your business then what was posted, maybe its me but it didn't seem to cover much. I've also been curious why suddenly this site has become more of a part time social meeting place only.

Ok. Here we get into some real meat-and-potatos. Most people who make a larger sized goal probably dont accomplish it right away. Probably dont accompish it as fast as they initially thought they could. Perhaps they sit looking at the goal and wonder "now how the hell do I get from where I am to where I want to go?" It plagues us all. I figured this may be a pertinent topic. Doesnt have so much to do with "building a castle" but if if youre planning on building a castle, it has something to do with you. I love to discuss this type of stuff. Mental abilities, how to survive life without becoming a total wreck (not that Ialways win), and how to subliminally yoke ev…

Leave it to me to let the kiddos make decisions.... to sucker (of course I mean become excited about on their own) them into the move, I allowed them to pick out a bed that they thought they would like to have, then to draw a pic. Of course my son jumps online and finds an awesome castle bed. LOL He can't wait for ours to be built. (son in action) So now I will be involved in the construction and planning of a castle bed, complete with banners, etc. and a wall mural to set it off. Just thought I would share the eagerness of my son. Can't say I am not excited to get it done and play in it myself! Will send you all pics in a few months when it is all put together in …

Castle Tredegar will share the exterior of the infamous Bodiam castle, but it has been sized down a bit and reconfigured to house an interior courtyard. We have plans for artisans cottages & workshops, livery stables, dovecotes, varous barns for equipment and livestock, orchards, gardens (formal & informal) camping and outdoor facilities, a tournament field and a hunting preserve. Later phases also house a wildlife preserve, emergency and disaster relief center, and a private abbey with a scriptorium and apiary. Plans for the castle make use of the environment without becoming a detriment to the surrounding countryside nor its' inhabitants, becoming more self…
